On the 16thof May 2020 I will be embarking on a 100KM trek through Tuscany as part of a fundraising challenge, raising much needed dollars for The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Whilst the travel expenses are completely self-funded, I have been given the task of raising at least $3500, which will be donated 100% to The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
I have collaborated with 4 Melbourne based textile designers to design & produce 20 x handmade, limited edition, leather bags. Then every dollar from each sale is donated to the cause.
Lara & Caitlin from Ink & Spindle have kindly donated the exterior screen printed fabric component of this stunning bag!
** Maximum 5 bags using this print **
Made from beautifully soft vegetable tanned leather, combined with hand screen printed fabric by Melbourne textile designers “Ink & Spindle”.
This hand bag is adjustable. You can wear it folded over, or simply adjust the strap to the higher rings to have a larger bag big enough to fit an iPad along with your usual handbag items.
It measures approximately 27cm wide and approximately 30cm high when opened fully.
It has a small leather inside pocket and an adjustable leather strap.
The inside is lined with cream cotton fabric.
(As beautiful and eco friendly as it is, vegetable tanned leather is porous, so extra care is required to keep it looking fresh. If a drink is spilled on it for example, it may sink in and stain. More robust leather options are available by custom order).
NOTE: If you choose this bag you’ll automatically be sent the bag pictured. I think it would also look fabulous using distressed brown leather. If you prefer a different leather option, please be sure to contact me and we’ll work out a plan you’ll love!
